Cinematic Short Film Editor Needed
Budget: ₹100 – ₹400 INR
I have a completed short-film shoot that now needs a deft cinematic edit to bring the story to life. The footage runs just under fifteen minutes, captured in 4K, and I’m aiming for a polished festival-ready finish with dramatic pacing, seamless continuity, tasteful transitions, atmospheric sound design, and rich color grading in the vein of classic narrative cinema.
You will receive:
• Camera originals (ProRes 422 HQ) and separate WAV audio tracks
• A reference script with preferred takes marked
• Temp music cues and a look-book outlining the desired grade
I’m cutting on Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve, so you’re welcome to use either—or both—so long as the final delivery includes a locked picture in 4K, an XML/EDL for conform, separate dialogue, music, and effects stems, and a graded master (Rec.709) plus the project files.
Acceptance criteria
• Story flows naturally with purposeful pacing and no jump-cuts unless motivated
• Color grade matches the provided look-book and is consistent across scenes
• Dialogue is clean, levels are balanced, and ambience fills any gaps
• Final runtime lands between 10–12 minutes, including opening and end credits
• All assets and timelines are organised and labelled for a smooth hand-off
If you have a reel that showcases narrative, cinematic editing—especially short films—please send it over. I’m ready to get started as soon as we align on vision and timeline.
