Cinematic Documentary Video Editor Needed
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
I’m building a YouTube channel dedicated to long-form documentary stories and need a professional editor who can give every episode a polished, cinematic touch. Expect raw footage that runs well beyond the final runtime; I’ll rely on you to shape the narrative, trim the excess, and keep viewers engaged from the first frame to the last.
What I’m after
• A cinematic editing style—rich colour, thoughtful pacing, and a look that feels ready for the big screen.
• Clean, purposeful transitions that move the story forward without distracting from it.
• Carefully placed sound effects to heighten key moments and add depth to interviews, archival footage, or reenactments.
Typical workflow
I’ll supply organised folders of video, stills, interview audio, and my rough outline. You bring it into Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or the tool you’re most comfortable with, lock the story, colour-grade for a consistent filmic feel, layer in the transitions and sound effects we agree on, then export a master file (1080p or 4K) plus any project files for future tweaks.
Delivery expectations
• Final edited episode ready for upload
• Separate project file with all media relinked
• A brief notes document outlining key creative choices or any areas that might need client feedback
If you love documentary storytelling and can turn extensive raw material into a seamless, cinematic experience, let’s talk and get the first episode rolling.
