Chinese Video Editor Needed Weekly

Job ID: 40154061

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I release Mandarin-language content every week and I’m ready to hand the editing over to someone who understands both the language and the rhythm of Chinese-speaking audiences. Footage arrives every Friday; by mid-week I need a polished video complete with clean cuts, smooth pacing, balanced audio, color-corrected visuals and native-level onscreen text or subtitles where required.

The raw material changes from week to week—sometimes a travel vlog, other times a quick tutorial or a longer sit-down segment—so you should feel comfortable adapting length, tone and style on the fly. I lean toward a modern look: think cinematic moments when the story calls for it, punchy fast transitions for energetic sections, or minimalist edits that let a thoughtful piece breathe. I’m open to your creative suggestions as long as the final piece feels cohesive and keeps viewers engaged.

You’ll receive:
• A download link to the RAW footage and any B-roll
• A short brief outlining key beats, sponsor tags or lower thirds
• Branding assets (logo, fonts, color palette)

You’ll deliver:
• The final video in 4K H.264 (plus a 1080p proxy)
• Caption file (SRT) in simplified Chinese
• The project file (Premiere Pro or Final Cut) so I can archive everything

Turnaround: 3–4 days after footage drop. Consistent reliability is crucial—we publish on a fixed schedule and the audience expects it. If you’re comfortable editing in Mandarin, enjoy storytelling, and want steady weekly work, let’s chat and trade samples.
