Budget-Friendly Horror & Movie Editing
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
I run a small YouTube channel that alternates between movie–explanation episodes and narrated horror stories, and I’m looking for a video editor who can polish each 10- to 20-minute instalment without stretching a lean budget. The material you’ll receive is a mix of voice-over, trailers or royalty-free clips, atmospheric sound beds, and my own B-roll. Your task is to weave these elements into an engaging narrative: tight pacing for the explanations, slow-burn tension for the horror pieces, smooth audio balancing throughout, and subtle visual flourishes wherever they heighten mood.
I haven’t locked myself into a single editing style, so feel free to propose creative approaches beyond simple cuts or heavy VFX—you have room to experiment as long as the final product feels cohesive and professional. If you prefer Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro or comparable software, that’s fine; what matters most is consistent quality and an efficient workflow that keeps costs predictable.
Deliverables per video
• Fully edited 1080p (or higher) master file in H.264
• Separate audio stem and project file for future tweaks
• One 30-second teaser cut for social media (vertical or horizontal)
I usually batch raw assets at the start of the week and appreciate a three-day turnaround, but I’m flexible if we communicate clearly. Please share any relevant samples—movie breakdowns, creepypasta, documentary edits, or similar work—and include a brief note on how you would keep the process streamlined on a budget. Looking forward to collaborating.
