Beginner DaVinci/ Adobe Premier Pro/ CapCut Editing Tutor
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I want to get comfortable editing social-media videos in DaVinci Resolve or Adobe Premier Pro or CapCut , starting from absolute scratch. Right now I can barely trim a clip, so I need structured, step-by-step guidance that lets me practise in real time while you watch and correct me.
The focus is on short-form content: Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts—anything under a minute. That means we’ll spend our time on a fast, repeatable workflow: organising footage, quick cuts, jump-cuts, captions, basic colour correctionand grading, simple motion graphics, sound sweetening, and the best render/export settings to keep file size small without killing quality. If you know keyboard shortcuts, plug-ins, or Resolve’s built-in templates that speed things up, even better—show me how to integrate them from day one.
Because I learn best by doing, I’d like live screen-share sessions (Zoom, Meet, or similar) with short homework assignments between calls. I also appreciate having a cheat-sheet or recorded recap so I can revisit tricky steps on my own.
Deliverables I need from you:
• A brief lesson plan covering the first five sessions, tailored to a total beginner
• At least one 1-minute demo project we complete together, with the project file I can dissect afterwards
• Recording or written summary of each session, including key shortcuts and export presets
I will give you a bunch of example videos of the type of editing I want to learn (ie; reels I thought were edited so cool and I want to learn how to edit like that)
