Basic YouTube & Reels Video Editing
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I have raw educational material that needs to be trimmed, arranged, and given light polish for two different audiences: a full-length YouTube upload and bite-sized Instagram reels. The edit itself is intentionally simple—I only need clean cut-and-paste sequencing, neat transitions where necessary, and a royalty-free music bed that matches the tone of the lesson. No cinematic colour grading or documentary-style storytelling; just concise, distraction-free pacing that lets the teaching shine.
Source files arrive as 1080p MP4s (occasionally 4K). You can work in Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or DaVinci Resolve as long as the final files meet the specs below.
Deliverables for each batch of footage:
• One long-form YouTube video (16:9, 1080p, mastered audio, intro/outro clipped in).
• Three to five vertical reels (9:16, ≤60 s each) optimised for Instagram.
• Separate audio-only WAV if possible so I can repurpose the lesson for a podcast feed.
Role Description
The role would be to edit and animate video, give sound effects to the video, intro and background music, and a voice-over will be provided. Using flat icons to animate videos and reels.
Here are some of the reference works that you have to do for the following channels
Video will be 10 to 11 minutes max. Reels under 0.5 minutes, max 60 seconds.
Pay will be based on a per-video basis, and 60 videos a month will be given, and 30 reels a month for sure, for the assurance of work and pay. Voice-over will be provided. You can do as many videos as you can render and send as fast as possible, and get paid in 48 hours on an approval basis. We can also discuss a monthly income basis if both parties, i.e., employee and employer, are comfortable with the same. Contract will be provided instantly after submitting a test video of 5 minutes without voice-over on any topic of your choice. You can use any animation or editing app and also apps for mobile as long as quality is not hampered nor the placement and proper skills.
