Basic Cuts Video Editing Help

I have a set of raw clips that simply need tightening up—removing dead space, arranging the segments in the right order, and adding clean, unobtrusive transitions so the flow feels natural. No effects work, motion graphics, or heavy colour grading is required; this is strictly basic editing focused on cuts and smooth scene changes.
The footage type itself isn’t promotional, educational, or social-media specific—I just need it polished and ready for its intended audience—so flexibility on pacing and final aspect ratio will be appreciated. If you prefer Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or DaVinci Resolve, that’s fine by me as long as I receive:
• A high-quality MP4 (H.264) export in the resolution we agree on
• The editable project file so I can make tweaks later if needed
