upgrade low res to high res Book pictures/Illustrations
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I have a small batch of 22 existing illustrations that look fine on-screen but turn soft and pixelated when I try to place them in my book layout. They must be rebuilt or up-scaled so they reproduce crisply as small insert pictures with accompanying text.
Here’s what I need from you:
• Take each low-resolution picture/illustration and deliver a high-resolution, print-ready version that preserves the original realistic style—no cartoon filters or abstract reinterpretations.
• Final files should be at least 300 DPI, sized to the exact dimensions I provide, and supplied in both layered PSD (or AI, depending on your workflow) and flattened CMYK TIFF/PNG for direct placement.
• Colours, proportions and fine details need to remain faithful to the source artwork; any artefacts introduced during enlargement must be cleaned up.
• I will consider the job complete when the new images drop into my InDesign file without warning flags and proof prints look sharp.
If you routinely use tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Topaz Gigapixel or similar upscale software combined with manual retouching, this will be straightforward. I have 22 to process and I needd them now so a do now work flow would be appreciated to get it done.
If any picture needs relplacing give me the link at freepik.com and i can instantly buy and send to you. Or collaborate to get what we need, just ask and it will be done from my side.
