I’m ready to bring my upcoming children’s story to life and need a talented illustrator who thrives in a playful, whimsical style. The book features an adventurous cast of both human kids and friendly fantasy creatures, and I’ll need 11–20 full-color illustrations to cover every key scene—including a vibrant cover.
Here’s what I’m looking for:
• Consistent, whimsical artwork that balances charm and clarity for young readers
• Expressive human characters alongside friendly intelligent extraterrestrials
• Rich, engaging backgrounds that enhance the narrative without overpowering the characters
• High-resolution files suitable for print (CMYK, 300 dpi) and web (RGB)
• Layered source files (PSD, AI, or Procreate) so text can be adjusted later
I’ll share the final manuscript, page-by-page art notes, and a rough storyboard once we start. I’d like to review a quick concept sketch for each spread, iterate once or twice where needed, then move on to clean line art and color. Strong communication and timely updates are essential; tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Procreate are all fine, as long as the finished files meet print specs.
