I have a single photograph that needs a careful touch-up focused entirely on its colour and light balance. I’m happy with the composition; what I’d like you to do is bring out the best of the image by:

• Enhancing brightness and contrast just enough to lift the details without pushing the highlights.
• Altering the colour tones so skin and surroundings sit in a soft, muted palette rather than vivid or punchy hues.
• Shaping the overall lighting toward a gentle, understated mood—think natural window light on an overcast day rather than dramatic spotlights.

No background swaps, blemish removal, or heavy effects are required; the brief is strictly about nuanced tonal work. Please work non-destructively in Adobe Photoshop or Lightroom (smart layers or virtual copies) and supply:

1. A full-resolution JPEG ready for print/web.
2. The layered PSD or an XMP sidecar so I can review your steps if needed.
