Skull Image Background Replacement

I have a single skull image that needs a quick, clean update. The only change required is to replace whatever background it currently has with a perfectly solid black one, keeping every detail of the skull itself untouched. A high-resolution result is important because the graphic will be printed later, so please preserve original dimensions and quality.

Preferred tools are Photoshop or another editor that lets you mask precisely and export loss-free files. I’d like the final deliverables to include:

• A flattened JPG or PNG with the solid black backdrop
• (Optional but appreciated) a layered PSD so I can tweak sizes later
