Sharpen Photo for 8x10 Print

I have a single color photograph of people that I need to look crisp and professional when printed at 8 x 10 inches. The original file is slightly soft, so the main task is precise sharpening—enough to add clarity without introducing halos or artifacts. Please keep skin tones natural and avoid an over-processed look.

The final deliverable should be a high-resolution JPEG (or TIFF, if you prefer) ready for lab printing at 300 dpi. If you see any quick tweaks that will help the image reproduce even better on paper—subtle noise reduction, contrast balancing, or a gentle pass of color correction—feel free to apply them, but the priority is sharpness. I will supply the source file as soon as we start, and I’d appreciate a brief note on the steps you used so I can replicate the approach in the future if needed.
