Resize Sports Cards for Print

I have a set of sports cards that exist only as JPEG files. The printer has come back with very precise bleed requirements: every card needs an extra 8 mm added to its height and 6 mm to its width, plus a further 6 mm background extension all-round. Nothing inside the current border can move, stretch, or distort, yet the enlargement has to stay perfectly proportional so the graphics that sit close to the edge remain intact.

What I need from you is a clean, print-ready version of each card that passes the printer’s pre-press check on the first try. Accuracy is critical—payment will be released only after the printer confirms that the files meet their standards. Please work non-destructively so any tweaks the printer requests can be handled quickly.

• Source material: JPEG only (no layered files).
• Edge sensitivity: graphics sit right by the border, so cloning/extension must be seamless.
• Final dimensions: current card size +8 mm height, +6 mm width, plus 6 mm bleed all around.
• Turnaround: the finished, approved files must be back to me by this Thursday.
* When enlarging please allow for bleed which is in proper proportion.
* Please add an extra 8mm to the height and 6mm to the width of the cards needing editing.
* Leave the inside the same just increase the area outside of the border.
* the background image on all your files needs to be 6mm bigger
* 49 cards need to be correctly re-sized and ready by the end of this week.
Deliverables
1. Print-ready files for every card (preferably high-resolution PDF or TIFF, but I will accept flattened JPEG if that is the printer’s requirement).
2. A quick proof of one card early in the process so I can forward it for confirmation.
3. Final confirmation screenshots or approval email from the printer.
