Recoloring - Doctorial thesis front page in Josef Frank Hawaii style
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I have a single scanned illustration that needs to be brought to life with the vibrant Josef Frank “Hawaii” color palette. The line work is finished; what I need now is a careful digital recoloring that captures the same tropical hues and balance seen in Frank’s work—without introducing his trademark patterns, just the palette itself.
You’ll receive:
• The high-resolution scan (JPG)
• A reference image that clearly shows the exact Hawaii palette I want matched
You will return:
• A fully colored, print-ready file in the same resolution as the original (preferably layered PSD or TIFF so I can make minor tweaks later). It should be ready for print
• Flattened PNG/JPEG preview for quick review
Acceptance criteria:
• Colors closely match the reference palette
• Two versions, one with original line art remaining but dark grey, on where it is removed. The countour should thus be one layer that can be removed or included.
• No additional patterns or texture overlays added
• Final file delivered within the agreed timeline, before 20251120
