Portrait Lighting & Background Revamp

I have a batch of portrait shots that look decent out of camera but still feel flat and uninspiring. I want them to pop with a realistic, professional finish through two key tweaks: refined lighting and a full background replacement.
Here’s the scope in plain terms: I’ll supply the original high-resolution files along with visual references for the mood and style of the new backdrop I have in mind. Your task is to rebalance the lighting so the subject is evenly lit, adjust highlights and shadows for depth, and then swap the existing background for the one I provide—making sure edges are immaculate, hair remains natural, and the final composite feels like it was captured that way in-camera.
Deliverables
• Layered PSD (so I can revisit any adjustment if needed)
• Flattened JPG/PNG in the original resolution, color-profile preserved
I work mainly in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop, so please keep your workflow compatible with those tools. If you handle masking with Select & Mask, refine in Camera Raw, or use dodge and burn to sculpt light, mention it—it gives me confidence in your process.
