Photoshop Print File Technician

I need reliable ongoing help (about 28 hours each week) preparing customer artwork for print. Orders arrive from our website in various formats—most often PNG, though an occasional JPEG, PSD or straight-to-PDF shows up—so solid file-handling skills are essential.

The workflow is the same on nearly every job: open the file in Photoshop, resize and crop it precisely to our flyer specs, add a proper bleed, export a two-page, print-ready PDF (front and back), and generate a quick proof. Once the PDF passes a final visual check, you’ll drop it into our print queue and mark the order complete. Because the work is repetitive, consistency and an eye for the small stuff matter more than flashy design.

You should already understand CMYK vs. RGB, safe zones, resolution requirements, and how commercial printers read trim marks. Experience with Acrobat for pre-flight is useful and keeps things moving. Minor colour tweaks or graphic touch-ups might pop up now and then, but the core task is efficient resizing and cropping for flyers.
