I have a book filled with black-and-white, cartoon-style illustrations that now need life through color. The brief is straightforward: every page should be finished with flat, pastel tones—no gradients, textures, or painterly effects. Consistency matters, so the same palette must carry across characters, backgrounds, and decorative elements from start to finish.
Source files are supplied as high-resolution PNGs; feel free to work in Procreate, Photoshop, Illustrator, or any other tool you prefer, as long as the final files come back to me layered and in 300 dpi CMYK plus flattened print-ready PDFs. Please name layers clearly (line art, colors, background) so small tweaks remain painless.
Acceptance criteria
• Each illustration colored only with flat, pastel shades
• No alteration to the original line work
• Clean edges—no spill into the outlines when printed at 300 dpi
• Full set returned in layered source format and PDF
