PSD Smart-Object Flame Logo

I already have a layered Photoshop file that contains a flame-style logo inside a smart object, but I keep getting stuck when I try to edit that smart object and commit the changes back into the main composition. All the artwork is there—nothing needs to be redrawn—I simply need someone who can jump in, show me the correct steps inside Adobe Photoshop, and help me finalise the logo on the spot.
Here’s what I need in the next 15 minutes:
• Walk me through—or screen-share and do it live—the exact edits inside the smart object so the flame looks exactly as intended.
• Save and update the PSD so the change reflects correctly in the parent document.
• Export a high-resolution PNG (transparent background) once everything looks right.
