One-to-One Medical Illustration Tutoring

Job ID: 40416594

Budget: $15 – $25 USD

I’m an absolute beginner in Photoshop and want to create clean, accurate anatomy diagrams for educational handouts and slide decks. I need a patient tutor who can meet me online one-to-one, walk me through the whole process live, and show me exactly how to:

• Set up a canvas and basic workspace
• Block in anatomical forms with simple shapes before refining detail
• Choose and manage layers, brushes, and colour palettes suited to teaching materials
• Add clear labels, call-outs, and typography that remain editable
• Export finished diagrams in common formats (PSD, PNG, JPEG, PDF) while keeping resolution and file size appropriate for print and screen

I learn best with real-time demonstrations followed by guided practice, so screensharing via Zoom or similar is essential. After each session I’d like the working PSD file and a short recap of the steps we covered so I can review and practise between lessons.

We can start with a short trial lesson; if the fit is good, I’m hoping for a structured mini-course spread over several weeks, but I’m flexible on pacing and scheduling. A background in medical illustration or related life-science art is strongly preferred—accuracy matters to me.

Please let me know about your relevant experience, the tools you use in Photoshop, and how you like to structure live tutoring sessions. Sample anatomy diagrams or a quick portfolio link will help me choose the right mentor.
