Mystery Fiction Cover Design Bundle
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I’m getting ready to launch a fiction release that leans heavily into mystery and suspense, and I want a striking, unified cover that works across three formats: Kindle/epub, a print paperback, and a square audiobook thumbnail.
Here’s the flow I have in mind. You’ll start by proposing one or two rough concepts that capture a tense, atmospheric feel—think dark palette, intriguing focal point, and typography that hints at danger without giving the plot away. Once we lock the direction, you’ll develop polished artwork for:
• eBook (front cover, 1600 × 2560 px or larger, RGB)
• Paperback (front, spine, back—print-ready PDF with bleed)
• Audiobook (3000 × 3000 px, RGB)
Final files should include layered source files (PSD or AI), flattened high-res JPEG/PNG, and the print PDF. I’ll supply the title, author name, blurb, barcode space, and any imprint logos as soon as we begin.
Acceptance criteria: artwork must reproduce cleanly in both digital storefronts and CMYK print; text remains legible at thumbnail size; and the three versions feel cohesive while respecting each platform’s specs. If you’re comfortable with the genre and can show past suspense covers—or similarly moody work—let’s talk.
