Modern Fiction Book Cover Design
Budget: £250 – £750 GBP
I’m getting ready to release my new fiction title and need a striking, modern cover that will work for both print and e-book formats. I’ll supply the synopsis, ISBN, trim size, and printer specifications as soon as we start; your task is to translate the story’s tone into a clean, contemporary visual that pops on crowded digital storefronts yet holds up in paperback.
Expect bold typography, confident use of colour, and imagery that hints at the plot without resorting to clichés. If you use stock photography or textures, please be sure the licensing covers print and digital distribution worldwide.
Deliverables
• Full cover wrap (front, spine, back) as a 300-dpi CMYK PDF with bleed
• Kindle-ready JPG plus a high-res PNG for other platforms
• Layered source file in PSD, AI, or InDesign for future tweaks
Acceptance criteria: colours and bleeds match the printer template, text remains crisp at thumbnail size, and files pass Kindle’s Cover Checker on the first attempt.
Share a quick note along with a few samples of modern fiction covers you’ve created, and we can get started right away.
