Minimalist Paperback Cover for KDP
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I have a paperback manuscript ready to upload to Amazon KDP and now need a clean, minimalist cover that meets their exact print specifications. The brief is simple:
• Front, spine and back designed as one print-ready PDF that passes KDP’s template checker first time.
• High-resolution JPEG or PNG of the front for marketing use.
• Source file (PSD, AI or INDD) so I can tweak subtitle text later if needed.
I’ll supply the trim size, page count, barcode area, title, subtitle and author name as soon as we start. What I’m looking for is someone who can translate that information into an elegant, uncluttered aesthetic—think generous white space, restrained typography and a single graphic or color block that carries the theme.
Please factor bleed, margin and spine width into the layout and keep all critical text inside KDP’s safety zones. If you’re comfortable working with Amazon’s cover template, the job should be straightforward.
Acceptance criteria
1. PDF uploaded to my KDP dashboard without errors or warnings.
2. Visual style aligns with the minimalist reference covers I’ll share.
3. All fonts either outlined or commercially licensed.
