Photo & Visual Content Specialist (Lighting Products)
OBJECTIVE
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Photo & Visual Content Specialist to enhance and standardize product images for an LED lighting webshop based in Belgium.
Your work will directly improve customer trust, brand presentation, and sales performance.
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENT
Fluent in both Dutch and English (spoken and written) is mandatory.
You’ll be working with a bilingual product catalog and must understand technical lighting terminology in both languages.
TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Retouch and standardize all product images to create a consistent, professional look.
Use a white or light gray background (#f7f7f7).
Adjust brightness, contrast, and proportions for uniformity.
Match color tones with each product’s Kelvin temperature (e.g., 3000K = warm, 6400K = cool).
Add a soft shadow or reflection under each product.
Remove supplier logos, watermarks, and imperfections.
Add a subtle light glow effect if the fixture should appear illuminated.
Deliver all files ready for upload and web use.

Create high-quality inspirational images representing each main product category, such as:

3. Visual Consistency & Brand Identity
Create a Visual Style Reference Guide (PDF) detailing:
Background color and brightness
Shadow direction and softness
Color temperature correction rules
Margin and alignment ratios
File naming format
This document will serve as a long-term reference to ensure new product images follow the same visual identity.
4. Image Optimization for Web
Convert all images to WebP format, compressed below 150 KB without visible quality loss.
Test sample images with Google PageSpeed Insights.
Deliver the final files in a clean, structured folder system:

SKILLS REQUIRED
Advanced skills in Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, or Capture One.
Strong sense of lighting, realism, and e-commerce presentation.

Experience with WooCommerce or Shopify image optimization.
(Bonus) Familiarity with AI image enhancement tools such as DALL·E, Midjourney, or Photoshop AI Fill.
