KDP Paperback Cover Formatting

My cover artwork is already laid out as a single PDF, but it still needs to be adapted to Amazon KDP’s exact paperback requirements. I’ll need you to handle BOTH the front and back so that the final file meets bleed, trim, spine-width and barcode clear-zone rules and sails through KDP’s previewer without any warnings.

I don’t yet have the detailed trim-size template from Amazon, so part of this job is advising me on the information you’ll need (page count, paper type, trim size, etc.) and then downloading or generating the correct template. From there, please re-format the existing PDF, adjust margins and spine, and return a press-ready PDF that I can upload straight into my KDP dashboard.

Deliverables
• One print-ready PDF complying with Amazon KDP paperback specs and verified in their online previewer.
• The working design file (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator—whatever you use) so that any future tweaks are easy.

That’s all I need—clean, compliant, and ready to hit “Publish.”
