KBP Non-Fiction Print Formatting
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
My non-fiction manuscript is ready to leave the word-processor and become a professionally printed paperback on KBP. I need someone who can take the raw text and:
• Lay it out for a 6 × 9 inch trim, setting correct margins, gutters, running heads, page numbers, and front/back matter so the interior meets KBP’s print specification.
• Create a complete cover (front, spine, back) that fits KBP’s template once I supply final page count, incorporating a clean, contemporary look that suits the subject. I do not have a cover yet, so concept development through to press-ready PDF is part of the job.
• Provide press-ready PDFs for both interior and cover plus original source files (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, or Affinity—whatever you build in) so I can update later if needed.
I’ll share the manuscript in Word and any branding assets I already have. Please have experience with KBP print guidelines and be comfortable troubleshooting bleed, color profiles, and spine width before final hand-off.
