Junior Video Editor (Bengali/English Preferred)

Reports To:
The Junior Video Editor will report to our Executive Administrator, Internet Marketing Coordinator, and Senior Team at Khan’s Tutorial.

Job Overview:
We are seeking a Junior Video Editor to help edit informational/promotional short form marketing materials for Khan’s Tutorial. You will be responsible for editing videos upon request based on materials sent, structuring them, and getting them ready for publication.
To be successful as a Junior Video Editor, you will need to be detail-oriented, highly organized, easy to work with, and have a willingness to learn new forms of video production and marketing production.

Responsibilities and Duties (Other duties may be assigned as needed):
-Meeting with the Internet Marketing Team to determine production vision.
-Manipulating video footage using modern editing techniques
-Trimming footage and putting together the project.
-Inserting dialogue, sound effects, music, graphics, and special effects.
-Caption videos in English and Bengali as needed.
-Adhere to Khan’s Tutorial’s design language and brand guidelines.
-Edit audio and filter background noise as needed.
-Design graphics and animations as needed.

Qualifications:
-2-3 years of experience using Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator
-Must show portfolio of completed work in the past
-Training in multimedia and communications
-Ability to take and follow direction, while also having a creative eye for improvements
-Strong organizational skills
-Keen attention to detail
-Willingness to learn and explore new processes and technologies

Availability:
Preferably 2-3 days between Thursday & Sunday during normal business hours in EST.

Compensation: $12-$17/HR Commensurate with Experience
