US Illustrator for Memoir Cover

My memoir is almost press-ready and now needs a cover that feels as alive and heartfelt as the story inside. I want one detailed, fully illustrated design that blends two core ingredients: a carefully retouched personal photograph or portrait of me (or a key figure in the narrative) and symbolic imagery that hints at the journey’s themes. Think of the photograph as the emotional anchor, with emblematic objects woven around it to create an inspirational, uplifting atmosphere rather than something somber or mysterious.

You’ll have creative freedom with colour palette, typography and composition, yet the illustration should remain spacious enough for the title and subtitle to breathe. A few practical points:

• Trim size: 6 × 9″; include a 0.125″ bleed.

• Schedule: first concept within one week of kickoff, final files within two weeks after feedback.
