Illustrated Book Cover Design

I need a solid graphic designer who can create an illustrated book cover from scratch and work exclusively in professional-grade software—no more surprises about “trial” tools that can’t export print-ready files.

The assignment is simple but quality-critical: transform my manuscript brief into a compelling, fully illustrated front cover (and spine/back once we confirm page count). I’ll supply the synopsis, exact trim size, and any reference art as soon as we start.

Final files I expect:
• Print-ready, full-wrap EDITABLE PDF in CMYK at 300 dpi with bleeds
• Separate high-res JPEG of the front cover for online stores
• Layered source file (PSD or AI) so text and placement stay editable

I use Adobe Acrobat Pro and need to be able to edit the files. If you are a Designer with Talent but not sufficient tools like Adobe Photoshop, AND KNOW HOW TO SAVE THE FILE AS PRESERVING THE LAYERS SO WE CAN EDIT THEM, DON'T BOTHER WASTING YOUR TIME AND MINE. ALSO YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE TO PROVE YOU HAVE THE PROPER TOOLS, PERIOD.

ALSO, IF YOU HAVE THE TOOLS BUT DECIDE TIME IS ON YOUR SIDE, FORGET IT. I NEED SOMEONE WHO 1) HAS THE TOOLS 2) KNOWS HOW TO USE THEM 3) CAN MOVE SWIFTLY AND ACCURATELY 4) MOST IMPORTANTLY, LISTENS TO THE CUSTOMER. OTHERWISE, FORGET IT AND DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MINE IF YOU PLAN ON HAVING MORE BUSINESS FROM ME.
