HTML Site Content & Page Updates
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
My hand-coded, old-school HTML site must stay exactly as it is visually and structurally; only the content should move forward. I need fresh material placed on several existing pages, plus new pages created and interlinked without touching the original design or CSS.
Scope of the refresh
• Update text and image blocks already on the site.
• Extend the Biographic (CV) page with recent exhibitions.
• Expand the Bibliographic page, adding links that point to new press pages.
• Build those new press pages—each one a simple HTML layout, featuring scanned or online press articles (JPEGs and text) arranged strictly by date.
What makes this a little special
– Content arrives in multiple languages; you only need English, but you must lay out JPEGs containing foreign text cleanly.
– Every image may need quick resizing or optimisation in Adobe Photoshop (or equivalent) before upload.
– I provide Cyberduck credentials for direct server access; Dreamweaver or a similar code editor keeps everything tidy.
– A short, non-negotiable test page proves you understand the site’s aesthetic and can work within its constraints—no AI shortcuts, just solid HTML sense, design judgement and clear communication with me.
Once the test page is approved, we move on to the live updates in small, reviewable batches so the original look remains intact while the content stays current.
