Food & Beverage Photo Retouching

I have a new series of product images—mainly food and beverage shots—that must look mouth-watering on screen and in print. The core of the job is meticulous retouching of any imperfections: crumbs on a plate, slight condensation streaks on a bottle, stray reflections in cutlery, and similar distractions that pull attention from the product itself.

While those food images make up the bulk of the work, a small companion set of clothing items needs attention as well. On those, I only want the fabric texture and weave to pop; no heavy smoothing or drastic colour shifts—just a crisp, tactile finish that remains true to the garment.

You’re welcome to use either Adobe Photoshop or Lightroom—whichever lets you work fastest and deliver clean, non-destructive edits. Final files should arrive as layered PSDs plus high-res JPGs ready for e-commerce upload, with colour profiles intact and no resizing unless I request it.

I’ll review on three points:
1. Imperfections fully removed without leaving cloning traces.
2. Accurate, appetising colour and white balance maintained across the set.
3. Fabric shots show natural, enhanced texture but no added artefacts.
