Event Backdrop & Decor Designer Needed (Custom Event Themes)

We are looking for a creative Event Backdrop & Decor Designer who can design unique, theme-based backdrops and digital mockups for birthdays, baby showers, anniversaries, festivals, and corporate events.

Responsibilities:
Create backdrop designs (digital mockups + printable files) for different event themes.
Collaborate with our team to align designs with customer needs and vendor product availability,also for ongoing projects.
Provide scalable designs suitable for printing, stage setups, or DIY kits.
Suggest creative ideas and trends for event decorations.

For each event you will develop one unique backdrop concept, refine it with my feedback, and supply press-ready artwork sized to the printer’s specs plus the layered source file (Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop). Along the way, feel free to suggest colour palettes that enhance the elegant mood; I’m not locked into any specific hues and appreciate fresh, tasteful ideas.

Deliverables
• Two approved design concepts (one16th birthday, one baby shower)
• Final high-resolution files in CMYK, bleed included.
• Editable source files with fonts outlined or linked.

Requirements:
Proven experience in event design / stage decor / backdrop creation.
Strong skills in graphic design software (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, CorelDRAW, etc.).
Portfolio showcasing past backdrop/event decor work.
Ability to deliver on deadlines.

This is a freelance/contract position.
Work will be project-based with the potential for long-term collaboration.
Payment initially will be per project/design (negotiable depending on complexity).
