Editorial Design for an International Art Magazine

I'm seeking a thoughtful and visually-driven Graphic Designer to shape the look and feel of our debut print issue. This role involves designing layouts that honor the work of artists worldwide, while maintaining visual consistency and cultural sensitivity. You’ll collaborate closely with the editor and regional curators to bring each issue to life through elegant, respectful, and impactful design.

Key Areas of Contribution:
- Editorial Support: Copy editing, proofreading, organizing artist bios, and captions.
- Design/Layout: Magazine page design, typography, visual flow (print + digital format).
- Artist Coordination/Outreach: Collecting missing materials, communicating with contributors, basic project management.

Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Strong graphic design portfolio with a focus on print media.
- Experience in editorial design, particularly for magazines.
- Excellent typography and layout skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
- Cultural sensitivity and appreciation for global art perspectives.
- Proficiency in design software (Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
