Edit High-Volume Photo Magazines
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I run a large-scale publishing line that puts out well over a thousand photo magazines every month, and I’m looking for reliable editors who can take each issue from rough draft to press-ready while working entirely from home. These are image-heavy publications, so every spread must look clean, balanced, and on-brand.
Your core tasks
• Content editing – polish captions, short articles, and pull-quotes, checking for tone, grammar, and consistency.
• Fact-checking – verify names, dates, locations, and any technical details that appear in the text. Accuracy is non-negotiable.
• Layout design – arrange photos, text blocks, and white space so the final PDF feels elegant and easy to navigate. Familiarity with Adobe InDesign (or similar) and basic photo-retouch workflow in Photoshop/Lightroom will help you move quickly.
Workflow
I supply raw copy, high-resolution images, and a style guide. You return a print-ready PDF plus packaged source files. Most issues follow the same template, so once you learn the system you can work in bulk. Turnaround per magazine is short, but the payment structure is simple: ₹10–₹20 for every completed magazine, paid weekly against an agreed spreadsheet of delivered issues.
What I’m looking for
• Previous experience in magazine or catalogue layout
• An eye for colour, typography, and visual pacing
• The stamina to handle steady, high-volume assignments without sacrificing quality
• Reliable internet and the ability to communicate quickly over chat or email
If that sounds like a fit, send me a brief note with a link to two or three relevant samples (before/after spreads are ideal). Let’s see how many beautiful magazines we can ship together this month.
