Crisp Fade Haircut Photoshop Retouch

I have a close-up portrait where the fade and line-up don’t look as sharp on camera as they did in the chair. I want the final image to show a darker, more blended fade and a razor-clean line-up without looking over-edited. Please work in Photoshop—no substitutes—so the colour grading, masking, and edge refinement stay fully editable on separate layers.
The focus is on both the fade and the line-up, so every transition from skin to length needs to feel seamless while the outline stays crisp. Skin tones, beard, and background must remain natural; only the haircut should draw fresh attention.
Deliverables:
• Layered PSD with all adjustment layers intact
• High-resolution JPEG ready for online posting (minimum 3000 px on the long side)
Acceptance criteria:
• Fade appears evenly darkened and perfectly blended, no banding or harsh brush marks
• Line-up edges are sharp yet natural, no halos or pixelation when zoomed to 200%
• Overall lighting and colour match the original shot aside from the hair enhancements
