Crease Removal For Poster Print
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
I have a high-resolution scan of a folded poster that I’d like to print at professional quality. The folds have left visible crease lines that run across several graphic elements—thankfully they miss all typography, but they do cut through illustrations and background textures.
What I need is a meticulous digital restoration: every crease blended away, colors and shading re-stitched so there is no tell-tale line when the file is sent to the printer. Think of the final result as a press-ready TIFF that can go straight onto a large-format printer without further touch-ups.
You’re free to work in Photoshop, Affinity Photo, GIMP, or any other retouching software you prefer, as long as the work is nondestructive and layered so I can review the edits. Subtle grain or texture recreation is welcome if it keeps the surface uniform.
Deliverables
• One flattened, print-ready file at the poster’s original dimensions and resolution
• One layered work file (.psd or equivalent) showing the restoration steps
Acceptance criteria
• No visible crease remnants at 100 % zoom or when printed at full size
• Graphics realigned seamlessly; colors, gradients, and textures match surrounding areas
• Overall sharpness, color, and contrast preserved or slightly improved, never degraded
If this sounds like your kind of precision work, I’m ready to share the scan right away.
