E-Commerce Product Photo Editing
Budget: $2 – $8 CAD
Project Description:
We are looking for a skilled photo editor to edit product photos for our children’s toy brand
The work involves editing doll product photos to meet the following standards:
Scope of Work:
1. File Prep & Format
* Work with RAW or Smart Preview files (provided).
* Save layered working files as PSD or TIFF.
* Export final images as high-resolution JPGs.
* Final photos must be in square format (1:1).
2. Image Cleaning
* Remove dust, fluff, wrinkles, or other distractions.
* Remove doll stands when visible.
* Ensure background is uniform and consistent across all images.
3. Alignment & Cropping
* Straighten dolls so they are upright and centered.
* Use Puppet Warp to adjust tilted heads, uneven arms, or posture.
* Crop consistently (using reference images provided).
4. Color & Exposure
* Adjust color balance if dolls look too green or washed out.
* Ensure fabrics and skin tones are true to the actual product.
* Avoid over-editing or blurring.
5. Final Touches
* Clean and even out backgrounds while keeping natural shadows.
* Add subtle drop shadows for realism.
* Double-check for leftover specks, marks, or inconsistencies.
6. File Export & Naming
* Deliver both PSD/TIFF (editable) and JPG (final) versions.
* Consistent file naming format will be provided
Success Criteria:
* Photos are consistent in size, alignment, and background.
* No visible distractions (fluff, wrinkles, or stands).
* Colors are accurate to the product.
* Dolls look natural, centered, and professional for e-commerce.
What We Need From You:
* Please provide your rate per image (this is the basis for selection).
* Include examples of past e-commerce/product photo editing work.
* Indicate how many photos you can realistically edit per day.
Notes:
* This will be an ongoing project as we frequently launch new products.
* We are a small startup and need someone reliable, consistent, and affordable.
* Attention to detail is very important since these are children’s dolls that represent culture.
To Apply:
* Share your per-image rate (if not provided you will not be considered)
* Provide before/after samples of your editing work (preferably with product photos).
* Confirm that you can follow our SOP and Loom training.
