Coloring Abstract Mystery Doodles

I have a batch of quirky character doodles sketched in monochrome that I’d love to see brought to life with colour. These pieces are strictly for my personal collection, so there’s complete creative freedom—no branding guidelines or licensing worries to box you in.

The drawings lean toward an abstract style: odd proportions, surreal shapes, and unexpected negative space. I’m after a mysterious, slightly enigmatic mood rather than light-hearted whimsy or serene minimalism. Think muted jewel tones, subtle gradients, or textured overlays that make a viewer pause and look twice.

You’ll receive high-resolution scans (300 dpi PNGs). Please keep the original linework intact, lay the colour beneath it, and return each doodle both as a layered PSD (or Procreate file) and a flattened PNG ready to print at A4 size. A consistent palette across the set is important, so including a simple colour key will help.
