Character Animator for Kids' Music Band
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
Adobe Character Animator Rigger — Live Screen Share Sessions
I'm building a five-character animated music series for kids. Each character is an animal in a band — fox on piano, elephant on sax, giraffe on guitar, bear on drums, rabbit on bass. Two characters are already rigged and working. I need help finishing the remaining three.
What I'm looking for
Live screen-share sessions where you do the work while I watch and ask questions. I want to learn the process, not just receive finished files. I'll be doing some of the characters myself afterwards, so teaching as you go matters more to me than speed.
The work
Each character starts as a single flat AI-generated T-pose image. The job is separating it in Photoshop into rigging-ready layers — head, mouth visemes, blink, neck, torso, two arms, two legs — then importing to Character Animator, tagging, and confirming head tracking and lip sync work.
Two of the three remaining characters sit behind instruments (drums, piano), so parts of them are occluded. That's the harder work.
Requirements
Demonstrable Character Animator experience — please link puppets you've rigged, not general 2D animation
Strong Photoshop selection and separation skills
Comfortable talking through your reasoning while working
Reliable screen share, clear audio
Scope
Starting with one two-hour session on the rabbit. If it goes well, more sessions for the bear and fox.
Notes
I have a working rig and a written process document I'll share upfront. I'm looking to extend what already works rather than start over, so please don't propose rebuilding the existing characters.
Please include your hourly rate for live sessions and your timezone. I'm US Eastern.
