Bold YouTube Thumbnail Design

I run a YouTube channel and need scroll-stopping thumbnails that feel instantly bold and vibrant. Each image has to feature a clear, punchy text overlay—usually a trimmed version of the video title—set against high-contrast colours and dynamic composition so it remains readable even on a phone screen.

You’ll receive a mini-brief for every video with its core message, a reference screenshot, and any colour cues. From there, craft a 1280 × 720 thumbnail, supply it in lightweight PNG/JPEG for upload, and include a fully editable PSD with organised layers. Adobe Photoshop is my normal tool of choice, but any software that produces a compatible PSD works for me.

Deliverables
• Three distinct concepts for the first video within 24 h
• Iterative revisions until the energy and clarity are spot-on
• Final thumbnails plus layered source files for each approved design

Acceptance criteria
• Bold, vibrant palette consistent with the channel’s look
• Text overlay remains legible when the image is scaled to 25 %
• Finished file under 2 MB, resolution locked at 1280 × 720
