Automatic TV Screen Replacement
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I have a set of TIFF photographs—each showing a room with a television—and I need a small script that automatically detects the TV screen area and swaps it with an image I supply. Because the shots come from real-world photo sessions, lighting varies from frame to frame, so the detection has to be reasonably robust against glare, reflections, and low-light noise.
Desired workflow
• Input: a folder of TIFF photos plus one “replacement” image (PNG, JPEG, or TIFF).
• Processing: detect the television screen, align and resize the replacement so it fits the screen perspective, then composite it cleanly (no obvious seams, halos, or color shifts).
• Output: new TIFF files saved alongside the originals with identical filenames plus a suffix.
Technical notes
• I’m not a coder in a ny way. I want this to be a feature in my Adobe PS picture editing for my Real Estate editing. Preferred way would be a script or shortcut that I can just click on and it will run it while I'm in PS. With a short cut combination.
Acceptance criteria
1. Detects and replaces the screen in at least 90 % of my test shots.
2. Final composites remain the original resolution and EXIF data.
3. Delivery includes the script, a short README, and any requirements.txt.
