Advanced Book Digitization & PDF Production

All the books are already fully scanned—around 200 pages each—but the raw files still need advanced restoration so they look as if they were born digital. The pages include both text and images, so I expect careful cleanup of illustrations alongside crisp, selectable text.

Here’s the workflow I have in mind:

• Advanced scan cleanup: remove stains, correct alignment, restore faded details, balance contrast and colour.
• Mass editing in Photoshop using smart Actions or Batch processing to keep the pace fast and consistent.
• Precise OCR, followed by a manual proof to eliminate recognition errors.
• Logical page sequencing and section breaks so the table of contents matches the final order.
• Assembly in InDesign and export to an editable, print-ready PDF, without sacrificing resolution.

I will keep sending fresh material, so the ability to handle a steady volume quickly and in an organised way is crucial. To gauge quality and turnaround, we’ll start with a paid test on a small set of pages; if the results meet expectations, the collaboration can become ongoing.
