Repair Adobe Lightroom Classic catalog

Seeking urgent assistance from a photographer with a high level of Adobe Lightroom Classic catalog experience and skills. Have lost catalog settings whilst trying to transfer the entire database to a new computer and can't reinstall the back-up catalog properly. Would suggest this can done over Zoom or whereby.com which is what I use normally
