Book Photo Resizing & Enhancement
Budget: $250 – $750 AUD
I need to turn a mixed batch of printed photographs—spanning several decades and many dimensions—into a clean, uniform set ready for my upcoming book. Every print must be scanned at high resolution, colour-corrected, dust- and scratch-free, then resized to a standard book photo size. Alongside those scans, I have a handful of digital images already on my computer that should be brought into the same workflow and finished to match.
After the edits, all images should arrive as high-quality JPEGs, consistently named and stored in clearly labelled folders so I can drop them straight into the layout software. Adobe Photoshop or Lightroom are the tools I expect for the retouching work, but I’m open to equivalent professional solutions if they achieve the same quality.
Deliverables
• Digitised and retouched versions of every print
• Matching edits on the existing digital photos
• All files resized to the agreed standard book size, exported as JPEG
• Organised folder structure with logical file names ready for immediate use
If anything in that list needs refining, let me know before you begin so we can lock in exact dimensions and turnaround time.
