3-page A4 brochure for an academic biostatistics service
Budget: $30 – $250 SGD
Project Description
I need a clean, professional 3-page A4 brochure to promote the biostatistical and data analytics services of a research centre at an academic medical school in Asia. The brochure will be used at academic conferences, in direct mailings, and shared digitally with prospective collaborators (clinician-investigators and academic researchers).
Format
- 3-page A4 portrait, single-sided
- Two PDF outputs: one high-quality (300 dpi) and one web-optimised under 5 MB. The brochure will be used digitally only — colour mode (RGB or CMYK) is at your discretion.
- Editable source file in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Affinity Publisher, or Canva (Canva acceptable if you share the design via a Canva edit link)
- Companion Word file containing all brochure content, organised page by page, so I can edit copy in the future
Brand compliance
The brochure must follow our institutional brand guide, which I will supply on project award (PDF, ~60 pages).
Key points:
- Use the supplied institutional logo lock-up — don't redraw, recolour, or modify it
- Stick to the supplied colour palette (two corporate colours plus a neutral grey, hex/CMYK provided)
- Use the supplied typography (a sans-serif family with an approved fallback)
- The brand has a signature Graphic Device (large keyline frame with smaller solid-fill descriptor boxes overlapping the bottom-right corner) that should be applied as the structural motif on each page
Imagery
I have no photography to supply and no budget for stock photo licensing. Please design the brochure using:
- The brand's Graphic Device as the structural motif
- Abstract decorative graphics — subtle dot-grid patterns, network/node motifs, or hexagonal meshes used tastefully as supporting visual texture (these can give the design strong visual appeal when used well; please don't overdo them)
- Data visualisation elements — stylised charts, scatter plots, network diagrams as decorative elements
- Iconography for service categories
- Bold typographic compositions and colour blocking
- Free-licence vector graphics if needed (e.g., from Flaticon or similar — please confirm licence)
Content structure
I will supply a Word document with all source content. Please edit and condense for impact rather than transcribe. Suggested page structure:
Page 1 — Cover. Value-proposition headline, three keyword descriptors, single-sentence introduction to the centre and its services, supported by abstract graphic elements.
Page 2 — Our Services. This is the showcase page and must be the most visually prominent. Services are organised into four thematic clusters: (1) Study Foundation, (2) Study Conduct, (3) Analytics, (4) Infrastructure & Capability. Each cluster contains 3–4 specific services (full content in the supplied document).
Page 3 — Workflow, differentiators, contact.
A 5-step workflow ("Consult → Design → Conduct → Analyse → Publish"), four "Why partner with us" bullets, contact block with email, an online request form URL, and a QR code (I'll provide the URL).
Disregard any references in the auto-generated listing to partner logos, testimonials, tutoring, extracurriculars, or career resources — none apply.
