Whimsical Baby Book Illustrations
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’ve written a personalized book that welcomes a newborn through the eyes of their proud older sibling, and I now need an illustrator who can bring that gentle, heartfelt story to life with a distinctly whimsical touch.
The finished book will be read aloud to infants, so every spread has to feel warm, simple and visually engaging for very young eyes. I’m picturing soft lines, playful unisex animal characters and soothing color that spark curiosity without overwhelming the page.
Scope of work
• Roughly 12–14 full-color spreads, plus a cover that matches the interior style.
• Final artwork supplied as high-resolution, print-ready files (CMYK, 300 dpi, ) I plan to offer the book for sale on Etsy, using a print on demand platforms. I am hoping to offer a hardcover in various sizes.
• Two feedback rounds: one after initial sketches, one after colored finals.

• Illustrations preserve the personalized elements (name spaces and sibling likeness) exactly as laid out in my manuscript.
• Artwork is fully original and delivered in layered PSD or AI files so minor text placement tweaks are possible before print.
• Colors remain consistent across all pages and the cover.
