Vintage Vector Text Recreation

I’m refreshing a commemorative graphic and need the two new lines—“70 Years” and “1956-2026”—worked into my existing vector file so they feel like they have always been there. You’ll receive the original artwork plus close-up samples of the current lettering; use those as your guide for weight, kerning, and overall personality. Both lines must carry the same distressed texture that’s already present in the file, giving them an authentically aged, slightly worn look rather than a brand-new overlay.
Match the style you see in the sample rather than choosing an off-the-shelf serif, sans-serif, or script; the goal is seamless integration, not a noticeable replacement.
When you’re done, send back a fully editable Adobe Illustrator (or compatible EPS/SVG) file with the new text on its own layer, all effects intact and any custom brushes or textures embedded. A quick PNG or PDF proof is helpful for immediate review. I’ll sign off once the new lettering blends convincingly with the original artwork at 100% zoom and prints cleanly at large format.
