Vintage Birthday Card Design

I’m putting together a small collection of birthday cards that feel authentically vintage—think warm earth-tone palettes, delicate floral flourishes, and a touch of old-world charm. The artwork should look as though it could sit comfortably in a 1950s stationery shop while still feeling crisp and print-ready for today.

Here’s the scope in a nutshell: I need a set of original front-cover designs (quantity can be agreed upon once we talk) that all share the same overall aesthetic—vintage theme, earth-tone colour scheme, and notable floral pattern elements. Illustration, texture work, and retro-style typography are welcome so long as the final look stays cohesive and true to the vintage brief.

Deliverables
• Print-ready files: CMYK, 300 dpi, standard A6 bleed settings
• Layered source files in AI or PSD so minor text edits can be made later
• A short style sheet noting fonts, colour swatches, and any texture overlays used

Acceptance criteria
• Each design clearly features floral accents without overpowering the main birthday message
• Colour palette sticks to warm earth tones; no bright pastels or monochrome schemes
• All text is legible at card size when printed
