Themed Cat Calendar Illustrations
Budget: £250 – £750 GBP
I’m creating a surprise wall calendar for my wife showcasing our two cats in playful, fully-illustrated scenes—one unique theme for every month of the year. I already have good reference photos of the cats; what I need is a talented illustrator who can merge those likenesses into imaginative, fantasy-style settings.
Themes I’d like covered
• Lord of the Rings
• Super Heroes
• Harry Potter
• Jurassic Park
• Music
• Sport
• The Office
(+ five more of your suggestion or mine so we reach all 12 months)
Art direction
• Style: polished, illustrative—not cartoonish or photo-real
• Backgrounds: richly detailed fantasy worlds that fit each theme
• Likeness: the cats must remain recognisably “them,” with accurate markings and personalities
Deliverables
1. Twelve high-resolution illustrations (minimum 300 dpi, A3 portrait) ready for print and digital use
2. A print-ready PDF calendar layout with correct bleed and margins
3. Layered source files (PSD, AI, or Procreate) so I can tweak dates later if needed
4. One round of revisions per image for tweaks on expression, colour, or props
Workflow
I’ll supply cat photos, personality notes, and any specific prop ideas (e.g., wizard hat, tiny shield). We can review rough sketches for each month before you render the final artwork in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or a comparable tool.
