I’m preparing a print-only technical manual and I need a designer who can handle both page layout and fully rendered, realistic artwork. Every drawing has to look like it belongs in an engineering reference book—clean lines, accurate proportions, clear labeling—while still feeling cohesive with the overall design language of the manual.
Here’s what I’m counting on you to illustrate:
• Diagrams and schematics that translate complex systems into easy-to-follow visuals
• Detailed views of the equipment and tools referenced in the text
• Step-by-step process sequences that show technicians exactly what to do
Because this manual will go straight to press, all files must be supplied in high-resolution CMYK (minimum 300 DPI) along with layered source files (AI or PSD) and a press-ready PDF of the full document layout. I’ll provide the written content, reference photos, and brand guidelines; you’ll integrate the copy, build a consistent grid, select typography that complements the technical style, and drop in the illustrations so the entire piece is print-ready.
