Technical Design Information Writing - 17/04/2026 09:11 EDT
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
This project blends design with technical writing; the objective is to present detailed information in a form that is both visually engaging and easy to understand. I have raw technical material that needs to be turned into polished assets—clear, concise copy paired with thoughtfully laid-out graphics or page designs.
The emphasis is firmly on accuracy and readability rather than marketing spin, so every design choice and paragraph must help readers absorb the information quickly. You may use the design tool or layout software you are most comfortable with (Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Figma, etc.) as long as the final files remain editable.
Deliverables
• Complete, press-ready and web-ready versions of the designed document or graphic
• Source files with all layers, styles, and linked assets intact
• A brief hand-off note explaining fonts, colours, and any component libraries used
Acceptance criteria
• Technical terminology is correct and consistent throughout
• Layout follows a logical information flow and meets basic accessibility guidelines (legible fonts, sufficient contrast)
• No text or graphic elements pixelate or distort at 100 % zoom or when printed at A4/Letter size
If you have a portfolio piece that shows a mix of design work and explanatory writing, feel free to point me to it so I can see how you weave visuals and information together.
